New experiences rewire how I hear, how I feel, how I create. Every unfamiliar sound is an invitation and I tend to say yes.

The Producer
“I don't chase trends very well and that's probably cost me more than once. I move slowly, obsess over details, and sometimes disappear down sonic rabbit holes that only make sense to me! But when a track finally lands, it's because it means something. My best work comes from patience, sonic detours, not pressure.

The DJ
“I DON’T TAKE REQUESTS. I never have. When I step into a DJ booth, I've already designed the journey in my head: its mood, its tension, its release. Random requests don't add to that arc; they fracture it. I see a set as a guided experience, not a jukebox moment.
That stance has cost me a residency once. I accept that. I'd rather be fired for protecting the story than praised for abandoning it. When I play, I'm not chasing approval, I'm inviting the room to go somewhere with me.
CJ
The Artist
“I've struggled with consistency, not in output, but in visibility. I make music from a deeply internal place, which means I don't always show up when self-promotion is expected. That's a weakness in this industry. The upside is that what I release is honest, intentional, and unmistakably mine. No filler. No masks.

Hey everyone,
So… after ten years of silence (musically, not verbally: you know I never shut up), I’m finally putting something back into the world. I’m proud to announce the release of Security Remixes Vol. 1, a 3-track exploration of what happens when old-school R&B vocals collide with my need to deconstruct, re-assemble, and occasionally misbehave.
The foundation of this project is Grier, whose voice sits somewhere between modern grit and that classic Teddy Pendergrass heat. The original “Security” track was pure R&B elegance. Naturally, I decided to take that elegance and… poke at it. Stretch it. Break it. Rewire it. Because after almost 20 years producing, I still can’t resist rebelling against the obvious.

Here’s what I cooked up for this remix pack:
Security (Burken's Redux Mix)
A sped-up reinterpretation nudging into deep-house territory. Dancefloor-ready with the heart of the original intact.
Security (Da Dub Mix)
This one bounces and breathes. Housey, dubby, rhythmic... It moves without asking permission.
Security (Lou Peoples Mix)
Haunting minimalism. Think stripped-down techno energy with a ghostly guitar lead that makes you wonder “Is this heavenly… or slightly unsettling?” Correct answer: both.
For those who’ve followed my work since the mid-2000s, yes, this is the same rebel energy, just with more years of life, tech, and questionable decisions behind it. I took a decade off releasing music to live, build, break things, rebuild them, and, finally, finish a new full album coming mid-2026. This remix project is the first spark of that return.

To all the DJs, producers, and industry heads I’ve known forever: thank you for sticking around, even when I vanished into the multiverse. To the fans who only heard from me during the occasional DJ set or weird late-night Mixcloud uploads, here you go. Chapter 2 starts now.
Security Remixes Vol. 2 lands later this year with some surprise remixes - it seems plenty of my old trusted contributors have been going through their own purgatory and couldn't wait to release those emotions in music too.
Stay tuned — I’m just getting warmed up.
After disappearing like a firmware update nobody asked for, I’m back with a 3-track remix pack built on Grier’s ridiculously soulful vocals - think new-age Teddy P with that classic R&B backbone.
But instead of leaving the track alone like a normal, well-adjusted human, I took “Security” and twisted it into three alternate universes:
1️⃣ Burken Redux Mix — Sped up, dance-leaning, deep-house-friendly.
2️⃣ Da Dub Mix — A bouncy, dubby, housey shapeshifter.
3️⃣ Lou Peoples Mix — Minimal, haunting, borderline techno… heavenly? dark? yes.
This is me returning after 10 years, still dismantling things just to rebuild them my way.
Available Jan 16, 2026 on the following apps/websites: iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, 7digital, Soundcloud, Pandora, Mixcloud, TikTok and Youtube Music + the usual suspects. (just search for the album title in your favorite music app...)
Volume 2 drops later this year… because apparently I’m making up for lost time.
